All weigh-ins for the American Cup Jiu-Jitsu Tournament take place right before each competitor's first match WITH YOUR GI ON.  Kids will need their Birth Certificate to weigh-in.  All non-Kids competitors will need a photo ID (such as a Drivers License or Passport) to present to the weigh-in staff, so that they can check your proper age and identity.  IMPORTANT!  Each competitor only gets ONE CHANCE to make weight for their division, so please double check your registration to be sure you signed up for the correct weight and age division.

If you do not make weight, you will be disqualified.  No changes will be accepted.  No refunds.

This is a sport with rules, and making weight for your division is part of the rules. In order to maintain the integrity of our tournament and the sport we STRICTLY enforce this policy, so please take responsibility and show up to the tournament at the correct weight for your division!

All weights are calculated with With Gi on!
Kids' weight brackets are based on the year in which the competitor was born.
*****REMEMBER, the Weight Division you register your child in is the MAXIMUM weight he/she can weigh.  If your child weighs-in over the registered weight, your child will be disqualified, and will not be able to compete.

Each Kids competitor will be required to show their Birth Certificate.
The ONLY Acceptable form of identification for Kids is a birth certificate.  If your child cannot provide their birth certificate, your child will be disqualified, and will not be able to compete.  No refunds.

Each Juvenile to Senior IV competitor will be required to provide identification.
Acceptable forms of identification include a state issued driver's license or government issued passport.
